Privacy policy

In general:

• GeWoVa does not collect, store or share any of your personal information.
• We don’t use cookies.
• We don’t track you.

Regarding documents and settings, including API keys:

• Using the browser’s local storage (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_storage) is essential for running the tool. The local storage is used to store documents and settings between sessions.
• To generate documents, the tool sends the source documents to an AI provider.
  • The default AI provider is OpenAI. Their privacy policy: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/
  • You can add additional AI providers. Get the appropriate policies from the integration developers.

There is a security risk:

• Malicious browser plugins or malware can steal API keys. This is beyond our control.

Payments are processed by Stripe according to Stripe privacy policy. Stripe does not share your personal information with us.

In future we plans to add social logins. The privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
